Wednesday - October 14, 2009 - Day 9
Today is mostly and transit day which has us heading back in the direction of Houston. We headed south on 160 and stopped for breakfast in Alma, NM, at the (don't be surprised) Alma Cafe. Yes Bryan, I mean Brian, I did change is up a bit today. I had Ham and EGGS, but with green chili peppers in the hash browns.
We stopped in Silver City, NM for a break so Doug could tour the local Quilt Shop. Don't ask. What's embarrassing is I went in with him and looked around.
We took 152 out of Silver City, and then south on 27 and east on 26 to the interstate. A quick 40 miles to Las Cruces, and then 70 over to Alamogordo. We checked into a great motel. By far the best one on the trip.
Tomorrow we head for Fort Davis, TX.
