Go West Old Man (Day 12)

Saturday - October 17, 2009 - Day 12

I guess it been a while since I have visited my Blog, and when I did I realized that I have not finished the trip. Well, it's time to do that.

Day 12 started fairly early, and we headed for Kerrville where we would meet some of my BMW friends who were in the Hill Country for the weekend. I don't think we ever found a place for breakfast, but we did stop for lunch in Rock Springs.

We ate at a restaurant I have eaten at a couple of times before and it was great. While we were eating my BMW friends showed up and we sat around talking for a while, but they were ready to continue on with their day ride. Doug and I decided to head directly to the motel.

We arrived at the motel around 3:00 and checked in. After dinner at the motel's restaurant we hung around the BMW crowd until around 11:00 pm. There was some consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Sunday morning we were up early and headed home. The ride home was direct and uneventful.

It was a great trip, we both will be looking forward to it next year.
