Monday, May 10, 2010 - Day 13

Nothing really to write about today.  After spending the night in Independence, MO we headed crisscrossed across the state of Missouri towards home.  As usual I tried to stay off the Interstate and take the byways as much as possible,

It rained on us pretty much the entire day.  Wasn't a hard rain, just enough to keep the roads wet and make the driving part miserable.  Today and tomorrow are mainly transit days to get back to Tennessee.

We stopped for the night in Popular Bluff, MO at the local Comfort Inn.  Had a nice dinner at Perkins and then returned to our  rooms to call it a night.  Tomorrow we will arrive in Tennessee, but on the way we plan to stop at a popular restaurant, Pattie's, which is located in Grand River, KY.

I probably won't be doing a blog for the next couple of days.  I will be back in Tennessee doing the family thing.  Once were back on the road I will catch the blog up.
